Mrs. Anna Eignor was organist, assisted by Miss Lydia Russell, 50, and Miss Florence Peper, 37.

The 143-year-old New York Ministerium, from which Christ's Lutheran Church of Woodstock (along with the Hartwick Synod) had seceded 99 years earlier, merged with the 21-year-old Synod of New York (of which Christ's Lutheran Church and the Hartwick Synod were members) into a new organization called the United Lutheran Synod of New York. The New York and New England Synod, which had seceded from the Ministerium 27 years earlier, became part of this new organization as well. The United Lutheran Synod of New York was part of the national United Lutheran Church in America (ULCA).
